The Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in Anhui province has been attracting an increasing amount of high-caliber personnel thanks to its supporting policies for talent introduction.

As a talent service center, Hefei International Talent City provides the zone with an integrated platform covering services such as foreign work permit approval and innovation and entrepreneurship policy consultation.

Since it opened in October 2018, the service center has provided 1,371 consultations and operated 1,362 businesses. It has gathered 16 talent teams and third-party organizations to promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

To drive scientific progress and economic development, the zone has introduced a series of domestically and internationally renowned incubators and more than 500 innovative enterprises. 

According to a voting result unveiled on April 14, Hefei ranked 3rd among the most attractive Chinese cities for expats only to Shanghai and Beijing, which demonstrates the city's competitiveness in introducing foreign talents with sound business climate.
