Global Developers Salon explores AIoT technology

The 2019 Tuya Global Developers Salon officially kicked off at a maker space in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province on April 11.

The salon gathers AI and internet industry insiders to explore how to promote the construction of a smart city with AIoT technology, which is a combination of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things).

Participants discussed how to apply AIoT technology in communications as well as the transportation and service sectors and shared their opinions on how to exploit the technology commercially.

"We are striving to realize service trade by setting up a platform to connect small and medium-sized enterprises and institutions with users of AI technology," said Dong Chang, AI service marketing director at AI firm iFlytek.

"To develop intelligent industry, we should make full use of AIoT technology. It should be more thoroughly applied in more scenarios," said Xu Guo, R&D director at Robot Technology (Hefei) International Innovation Research Institute, "it is not an easy task and we need to keep working to figure out solutions."
