Huami reports strong financial results for 2018

Chinese smart wristbands manufacturer Huami Corp, saw rapid growth in its financial results in 2018, according to the US-listed company's financial report on March 14.
The revenue of Huami in 2018 climbed to 3.65 billion yuan ($544.51 million), up from 2.05 billion yuan last year, a 77.9 percent increase year-on-year.
Net profit attributable to Huami was 474.80 million yuan in 2018, compared with 230.50 million yuan in 2017, up 106 percent year-on-year.
Owing largely to rising demands for the products of Huami's self-owned brand Amazfit, the sales volume of Huami in 2018 reached 27.50 million, compared to 18.10 million in 2017, an increase of 51.9 percent. .
"The strong performance in 2018 shows Huami's potential to expand into international markets," said Huang Wang, founder, chairman and CEO of Huami.
Huang said the company will strive to develop more innovative products by employing their word-class research capacity in the smart sector field to ensure Huami's competiveness in global markets.
