The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province, held a conference on March 2 to look back on the zone's achievements of 2018 in attracting investment and to eye further development of new businesses.

In 2018, the zone signed up 277 new projects with total investment of about 89 billion yuan ($13.28 billion), over-fulfilling the goal set by the municipal government.

The conference rolled out a 2019 work report on attracting investment, measures to evaluate job performances and a program on the division of labor.

Next, the zone will take high-quality major projects as a breakthrough way of attracting investment.

In addition, the government will continue to optimize the business environment and provide quality service to the zone's enterprises.
