Anhui Optimize Green, a company engaged in new material research in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province, has seen an array of achievements related to the application of recycling.

In 2019, Optimize Green is expected to consume 6,000 tons of raw materials such as rice husks and straws, which consumes waste generated from rice planting of about 50,000 mu (3,333.33 hectares) in Anhui alone.

"We have invented eco-friendly tableware that is degradable and pollution-free through continuous research and innovation," said Cui Wei, director of Optimize Green.

Cui took the technology to China and started up the green business. With its international sales headquarters in Dalian, Liaoning province, Optimize Green has entered markets such as Thailand, Singapore and the United States.
