Tianchichuang, a maker space in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province, was ratified recently as a Hefei national offshore innovation and entrepreneurship base for overseas talents, according to the Hefei Association for Science and Technology.

The base will promote the accumulation of quality overseas innovative resources by attracting overseas talents to start up new businesses in Hefei and accelerate building the zone into an international innovation and entrepreneurship center.

Tianchichuang, an investment-driven service platform for innovation and entrepreneurship with the aim of entering international stage, has cultivated 50 enterprises and teams, including six international projects, and has assisted companies to get financial support to a total amount of 194 million yuan ($28.66 million).

Hefei Gaoxin Development and Investment Group Co, founder of Tianchichuang, has always attached great importance to the introduction of overseas projects and has invested in 10 overseas entrepreneurial projects. It will help create a favorable environment for Tianchichuang to carry out the construction of an innovation and entrepreneurship base.
