Huami seeks innovative talents to go global
Huami, a pioneering company in wearable technology, is pulling out all the stops to bring in high-end talents and make its innovation center in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province, a world-leading industrial base.
As a rapidly-growing enterprise focusing on innovation-driven development, Huami strives to integrate high-caliber personnel, top-class resources and capital as part of its efforts to elevate their company on the global stage.
By designing products in Hefei and selling worldwide, Huami gained revenue of 2.42 billion yuan ($361.29 million), a year-on-year increase of 86.8 percent, and a net profit of 328 million yuan, an increase of 128.1 percent in the first three quarters of 2018.
To encourage employees to stay at the company long-term, Huami, the first Anhui-based enterprise listed in NYSE, sets long-term incentives by giving them the option to take company shares, which will rise in value when the company breaks innovative new ground in core technology, according to Huang Wang, president of the company.
"Huami's innovation center in the zone, which focuses on core areas of wearable technology such as chips and operating system of smart watches, will inject vigor into the further development and innovation of the wearable industry," said Huang.
