A ceremony to honor outstanding enterprises for their endeavors was held in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui province on Jan 25.

Five categories of awards were given out, including for outstanding contribution, quality and efficiency improving, innovation and entrepreneurship, fintech development, and integrity.

A total of 474 enterprises won the prizes with total rewards amounting to 60 million yuan ($8.91 million).

The event was designed to encourage more companies to increase investment in research and development and to improve the conduct of companies by highlighting how excellent enterprises can be rewarded for their endeavors.
