Based in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, Anhui Guozhen Environmental Protection and Technology Joint Stock Co has been dedicated to the reform and innovation of the water industry for 21 years. 

With the aim of integrating the application and development of water resources, Guozhen in recent years has introduced and invested in many overseas technologies and companies to enrich its industrial chains. 

Focusing on sewage plants in villages and small and medium-sized cities, Guozhen is capable of handling 5 million metric tons of waste water every day, and its products are in line with the needs of countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. 

Guozhen has also developed close ties with companies which have set up overseas branches, complementing each other's advantages and forming an integrated industrial body.

Putting environmental protection at the forefront, Guozhen carries out various themed activities to celebrate the annual World Environment Day on June 5, and has also set up its own environment open day to encouraging members of the public, especially students, to visit local sewage plants and enhance their understanding of waste water treatment.

For the past 10 years, the company has held an awards ceremony for people who have excelled in scientific and innovative management. The winners receive prizes and financial rewards.
