On Sept 22, China welcomes the Autumn Equinox, the 16th solar term on the traditional Chinese lunar calendar. It lies at the midpoint of autumn, dividing the season into two equal parts.

With the arrival of the Autumn Equinox, Zhanjiang in South China's Guangdong province is also welcoming the harvest season.
