A tourism introduction and marketing event was jointly held by Zhanjiang in Guangdong province, Qiongbei in Hainan province, and Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region during the 2020 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE), which was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from Sept 11 to 13.

Qiongbei refers to the cities, including Haikou, which are located in the northern part of Hainan province.

The event aimed to promote the featured cultural tourism resources of the three places, deepen cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation among the three regions, as well as bolster cooperation to expand the tourism consumption market in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Zhanjiang, Qiongbei, and Liuzhou are geographically close to each other, as well as boast characteristic, but highly complementary cultural tourism resources. This was the third time that the three places teamed up in holding a large-scale promotion activity during the CITIE.

Interactive activities like playing promotional videos, delivering speeches, staging characteristics singing and dancing performances, as well as representative recommendations showcased the colorful and rich cultural tourism resources in the three places.
