The Pharmacology and Toxicology discipline of Zhanjiang-based Guangdong Medical University (GDMU) recently entered the top 1 percent of the Essential Science Indicators ranking.
The Essential Science Indicators, also known as ESI, is an authoritative analysis and evaluation tool for measuring scientific research performance.
This is a new breakthrough in GDMU's discipline construction after its Clinical Medicine Science discipline was included among the top 1 percent in the world ESI ranking in 2015.
In addition, GDMU ranked 22nd of its kind in China and third of its kind in Guangdong province in ESI's comprehensive ranking.
