A technical team consisting of teachers and students of electrical engineering department and numerical control department of Zhanjiang Technician College began to install and debug Guangdong Tongde Pharmaceutical Co's equipment for producing masks starting from March 9.

At present, the company has started trial production of seven production lines of disposable masks. It is expected that a total of 15 production lines will be put into production before the end of March. However, due to the tight trial production time, the automated production line machines did not undergo a comprehensive trial operation when leaving the factory, which caused some production lines to be unable to carry out production operations on time.

The technical team of Zhanjiang Technician College has provided technical support for the company after learning about the company's difficulties. The team helped the processing of equipment parts and solved technical problems of the automated mask production lines, including the adjustment of mask machines, optimization of automatic production control programs for mask machines, as well as equipment installation and commissioning.

"Thanks to the support of the technicians sent by Zhanjiang Technician College, our company can finally maintain resumption of production on time," said Mr Shen, manager of Guangdong Tongde Pharmaceutical Co.

In the past few days, Zhanjiang Technician College has sent more than 300 students to local enterprises to support their resumption of work, including Tongde Pharmaceutical Co, Zhanjiang Baosteel, Zhanjiang Chenming Pulp and Paper Co, and Zhanjiang Hongda Petrochemical Co, contributing to the operation of the city's economy.
