A batch of 1,000 kilograms of live grouper from a company in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province was successfully exported to Hong Kong after passing inspection and quarantine by Zhanjiang customs. This is the first time that live mariculture fish from Zhanjiang has been supplied to Hong Kong.

In order to help Zhanjiang's fresh seafood to be supplied to Hong Kong, Zhanjiang customs assisted enterprises to complete the construction of a health supervision system and to timely register for it. They also carried out in-depth enterprise supervision, informing them about the laws and regulations related to live animals for Hong Kong and Macao. They also guided enterprises to strengthen the management of the use of medicines and feeds, as well as conducted more than 20 index tests in advance to ensure quality and safety, optimizing the quarantine supervision system.

In the future, Zhanjiang customs will continue to promote the implementation of various customs reform and service policies, continuously optimize the economic and business environment of Zhanjiang, as well as facilitate the development of enterprises.
