Academic seminar on Lingnan gardens held in Zhanjiang

The Lingnan Gardens Academic Seminar was held in Zhanjiang from Nov 9 to 10, gathering more than 300 industry elites, enterprises representatives, as well as experts and scholars to discuss the new direction of Lingnan garden development.

Sponsored by the Guangdong Society of Landscape Architecture, the two-day event explored ways to promote the development of the Guangdong landscaping industry through themes like urban construction, living environment, and cultural landscape.

Attendees of the seminar included Chen Zhong, president of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, Shi Anhai, president of the Guangdong Society of Landscape Architecture, Li Xiong, vice president of Beijing Forestry University, Liao Bing, director of the Guangdong Academy of Science, Chen Weijie, deputy mayor of Zhanjiang, as well as leaders and representatives from other cities.

The seminar provided a good platform to learn from advanced cities and experts as it invited garden industry experts to inspect the achievements of Zhanjiang's landscaping construction. The seminar is of great importance to improve the technological level of the gardening industry in Zhanjiang, and is conducive to further enhancing the visibility and reputation of the city.

During the event, the Zhanjiang urban administration also showcased its achievements and experiences in building an ecological coastal city through speeches, promotional videos, and magazines.
