A number of Zhanjiang culture and tourism enterprises are taking part in the 12th Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Cultural Industry Fair, which opened in Xiamen, Fujian province on Nov 1, featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors from countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road and across the Straits showcasing creative products.
Hand-assembled paintings and book-cutting art in the Zhanjiang Pavilion have attracted many visitors. The booths also display tourism resources like Dinglong Bay and the beautiful Leizhou Peninsula. Various specialties are also being showcased at the fair.
The four-day fair aims to build a platform of cooperation and exchange, as well as investment transactions for cross-Strait cultural and tourism industries. A total of 36 supporting activities, such as various forums, matchmaking meetings, and promotional conferences, as well as 126 special events in 28 sub-meeting venues in Xiamen will be held, attracting key cultural enterprises from all over the country to participate in the fair.
To make full use of the platform to exhibit the city's characteristic cultural products and tourism resources, as well as promote the development of the cultural tourism industry, the Zhanjiang government has actively organized relative enterprises to participate in the fair. In addition to free booths, the government has also provided full support for logistics services.
Enterprises will strengthen business exchanges, learn about the latest developments in the industry, and explore the development direction of the integration of the cultural tourism during the fair.
