After passing the inspection of Zhanjiang Xiahai Customs, 246 tons of frozen fish processed by a fishery enterprise in Zhanjiang were cleared for customs clearance and exported to Vietnam, which is the first time that frozen fish cultivated in the seawater of Zhanjiang has entered foreign markets.

"This is the first time we have entered the Vietnamese market. It took only two days to complete the customs clearance. The efficient operation of customs has solved the export problem for us," said the general manager of the company. "Most of the exports were frozen golden carp, which is well received by the Vietnam people because of its high quality and low price."

Zhanjiang Xiahai customs has taken many steps to help the enterprise export the frozen fish, such as establishing a quality management system, conducting field reviews, handling the filing procedures, as well as guiding enterprises to strengthen the control of raw materials and improve their self-checking and self-control capabilities to ensure the quality of export products.

According to Liu Pengfei, an official from Zhanjiang Xiahai Customs, the customs clearance process has been optimized within one hour, which ensures the freshness of the exported frozen fish to the fullest extent possible.

In recent years, Zhanjiang Xiahai Customs has actively strengthened guidance and support for exporting Zhanjiang's specialty agricultural products, such as aquatic products and vegetables, helping enterprises to open up new markets.
