The first China Marine Equipment Expo will be held in Zhanjiang, South China's Guangdong province from April 28 to May 3, 2020.
The city of Zhanjiang held a meeting on Oct 11 to convey the implementation of the Guangdong Provincial Government's deployment of the expo and fully start preparatory work for the expo.
The expo will set up maritime exhibition areas and land exhibition areas. The marine equipment pavilion, the ship pavilion, and the special vessel pavilion of the maritime exhibition areas will display advanced equipment, facilities, and technologies, such as maritime shipping, marine engineering, and marine energy, as well as exhibit advanced official ships and sea surveillance vessels. Various large-scale events, such as high-end summits, professional forums, war ship visits, performances, economic and trade activities, as well as cultural and travel activities, will be carried out at the land exhibition areas.
The expo is committed to building an important venue for the implementation of the national strategy, a high-end platform for showcasing advanced marine equipment at home and abroad, as well as an important window for the development of the marine economy.
Currently, the preparations for the expo are being carried out according to the standards of specialization, marketization, and internationalization.
