The 4th Modocom Jackfruit Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Leizhou, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province on July 27, and will last until Aug 10.

The festival will hold 16 activities with the theme of jackfruit in 15 days to attract visitors of all ages, including short video contests, a music festival, and Leizhou Opera performances, which is a national intangible cultural heritage. African drums performances and campfire parties are also available for attendees to take part in.

The Jackfruit Cultural Tourism Festival is an annual event held by Modocom Group. It has now become a calling card of Leizhou to help spread Leizhou's culture and display Leizhou's tourism features, thus promoting the development of its tourism industry.
