University students in Leizhou, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province provided voluntary services for local communities as part of the Leizhou College Students Volunteer Association (LCSVA).

Students set up three voluntary service stations from July 18 to 22, providing various free services including home appliance repair, health clinics, anti-drug education, as well as the collection of books and clothes for donations. Free appliance repair service and free medical consultations are welcomed by the public every year.

Volunteers from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine provided intimate services for the elderly, including blood pressure measurement, massage, moxibustion, and ear-acupoint analysis. They also launched a campaign to promote anti-drug knowledge by showcasing drug samples, as well as participating in games and VR glasses experience.

The event has been held every summer for 24 consecutive years. It not only benefits the participating students, but also promotes public welfare in Leizhou.
