World's largest passenger ro-ro terminal taking shape

Amid the roaring machines and busy workers at the construction site of the Xuwen Port Comprehensive Transportation Hub project, the world's largest passenger ro-ro (roll on/roll off) terminal is taking shape at Xuwen Port in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province.

Xuwen Port Comprehensive Transportation Hub is the main project for the passenger ro-ro terminal, which started construction in early 2017. Covering a total construction area of 77,558 square meters, the hub is a three-story project that will be used as a waiting lounge and port management zone.

As of April 10, the hydraulic engineering project of Xuwen Port was basically completed as planned, and the land supporting and Xuwen Port Comprehensive Transportation Hub project are under intense construction.
