The total export value of Zhanjiang-manufactured small household appliances reached 2.37 billion yuan ($351 million) in 2018, accounting for 11.6 percent of the total value of the city's exports, according to statistics from Zhanjiang Customs.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) topped the client list by importing 730 million yuan in small household appliances from Zhanjiang, accounting for over 30 percent of Zhanjiang's small household appliance export.

Exports to the European Union (EU) and Africa showed strong momentum, recording whopping year-on-year increases of 23 percent and 34.7 percent, respectively.
