The Zhanjiang delegation led by Party secretary Zheng Renhao reviewed the work report delivered by provincial governor Ma Xingrui during the 1st session of the 13th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, on Jan 25 at the Guangdong Hotel.
This year's work report is both realistic and pragmatic, as it not only displays the progress of 2017 through statistics, but also maps out a blueprint for the upcoming year of 2018 in a most motivating and scientific manner, said Party secretary Zheng.
Furthermore, Zheng added that Guangdong province has shown great foresight by maintaining its central government conferred strategic position and will seek further prosperity in sync with the nation's overall development, and as will Zhanjiang.
According to Zheng, both the country and province have attached great importance to Zhanjiang in recent years. They have given the city unprecedented support in terms of industries, ecology and transport, which in turn has created fantastic opportunities for Zhanjiang's development.
