A record number of 3,000 exhibitors from both China and abroad are expected to attend the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) from Dec 14 to 17, up more than 20 percent on last year.

It includes over 50 domestically leading enterprises such as Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China State Shipbuilding Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation, 1,800 emerging Chinese companies, as well as exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions including the United Kingdom, France, Norway, Russia, the United States, Singapore and Australia.

They will participate in demonstrations, forums and promotional conferences covering marine energy, equipment, science and technology, environmental protection, tourism, biomedicine, military-civilian integration and modern services.
