Zhanjiang will open special waterborne bus lines during the 2017 China Marine Economy Expo, which will be held at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center from Dec 14 to 17, according to the organizing committee.
The waterborne buses will operate between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to commute between Zhanjiang Aquatic Sports Center and Nanyou Yacht Club Wharf. The frequency will be adjusted at any moment according to the passenger flow. A single trip will take 20 minutes.

Tickets will be sold at Zhanjiang Aquatic Sports Center and Olympic Sports Center, with the price being 10 yuan ($1.5) per adult. Passengers with a 70-year-old senior citizen card or children under 1.2 meters can take the buses for free.
In the meantime, the Haiwan Bridge, a traffic line shortening the distance between Leizhou Peninsula and the Pearl River Delta by 40 kilometers, will open to the public for free from Dec 13 to 17.
