A 2,278-meter-long pearl necklace, which is recognized by the Guinness World Records book as the world's longest pearl necklace, will be on display during the 2015 China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) in Zhanjiang from Nov 26 to 29.

The necklace was made by Zhanjiang Ronghui Pearl Co. It consists of 316,474 seawater pearls and weighs nearly 170 kg. It took several workers half a year to make the necklace.

Visitors will be able to view the necklace from close distance during the Expo.
