The No 1 blast furnace of a giant iron and steel complex owned by Baosteel Group on Donghai Island in Zhanjiang is scheduled to go into operation on Sept 25.

After more than 800 days of hard work by nearly 20,000 workers, a brand new and modern steel enterprise now stands out on the Donghai Island, ready to contribute to Zhanjiang's economy and prosperity.
