The Hafree International Hotel is located on Leshan Avenue in the economic development zone of Zhanjiang. With an investment of 600 million yuan from Guangdong Hengcheng Group, its construction was divided into two phases, the phase-I project was finished on January 17, 2007 and the second on January 1, 2008.

The hotel covers an area of 26,600 square meters and has a floor area of 89,000 square meters. The main building is 11 stories high and the auxiliary building is 28 stories high. It is a five-star international business hotel, and is the first business hotel in Zhanjiang equipped with central air-conditioning.
