Huang Ningsheng attends Argentina Independence Day celebration

Huang Ningsheng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, was invited to attend the Argentina Independence Day reception hosted by the Consulate General of Argentina in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on July 11.

Whilst at the reception, Huang hailed the diplomatic relations between China and Argentina since their establishment over half a century ago. He said the two countries have maintained mutual respect, equality, and win-win cooperation.

Guangdong and Argentina have maintained close exchanges and implemented various initiatives focusing on economy and trade cooperation, cultural exchanges, and sister-city relationships, said Huang.

Currently, Guangdong is strengthening its comprehensive reforms and expanding high-level opening-up, in an attempt to provide wider opportunities for global partners, including Argentina, he added.

Huang expressed his hope that Guangdong would collaborate closely with the Consulate General of Argentina in Guangzhou to implement important agreements reached by leaders of both countries. He emphasized the promotion of cultural exchanges and mutual learning within the framework of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative, aiming to build a better future together.
