A celebratory meeting for the 40th anniversary of the relationship between Fujian province and Nagasaki prefecture, Japan was held online on Sept 29.

To further deepen both sides' exchanges and cooperation in various aspects such as education, Fujian Polytechnic Normal University and Nagasaki International University signed an inter-university cooperation memorandum to expand cooperation in various aspects such as special exchanges of majors, scientific research collaboration, and mutual visits.

In addition, Fujian Media Group and Nagasaki International Television signed a letter of intent for partnership to cooperate in the filming of a historical and cultural documentary that is expected to showcase the history of friendly exchanges between China and Japan.

Fujian province and Nagasaki prefecture have been carrying out frequent and friendly communications and cooperation over the past 40 years, and the Chinese Ambassador to Japan Kong Xuanyou spoke highly about it at the event.

Representatives of departments and universities from both Fujian province and Nagasaki prefecture attended the event at the offline venues in Fuzhou, Fujian province and Nagasaki prefecture, Japan.
