The second integrated development conference of Fortune Tea was held in Fuzhou, Fujian province on the third International Tea Day, which fell on May 21.

Fortune Tea vouchers worth 30 million yuan ($4.48 million) were issued by the provincial department of commerce on the Fortune Tea website to boost consumption and support the website's key role in attracting tea companies, improving tea trade scale, strengthening cooperation among tea production areas, and improving quality control.

The Fortune Tea website has evolved to become one of the fastest growing comprehensive internet service platforms in the tea industry nationwide since its introduction on June 28, 2021, with its trade volume exceeding 1 billion yuan in less than six months.

The conference also saw the launch of the first IP image contest dedicated to Fujian tea and tourism. The winners are eligible to sign up to represent Fujian Tourism Development Group's scenic spots, 20 tea companies, and local cultural tourism scenic IP images as spokespeople.

Furthermore, in Fuzhou, the conference's serial events, such as a tea drinking event, began on the same day.

Tea production and culture are important in Fujian province. By 2021, the whole output value of the tea industry chain had surpassed 140 billion yuan, with approximately 10 million employees.
