On May 19, China Post announced the fourth batch of special stamps on "China's ancient town", featuring Anhai town in Jinjiang, a county-level city in Quanzhou, Fujian province.

The full set of four stamps costs 4.8 yuan ($0.71).

Anping Bridge and Baita Pagoda, both historical landmarks in Anhai, are featured on the stamp, highlighting the atmosphere of the poetic ancient town. The Anping Bridge was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List alongside 21 other sites and monuments in Quanzhou.

Anhai ancient town, located southwest of Jinjiang and across the sea from Jinmen, a county and small island attached to Taiwan, has been a unique 800-year-old coastal commercial town with overseas traffic and trade since the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties.

China Post-released "China's ancient town" serial stamps feature traditional architectural styles, architectural art, and traditional folklore from ancient towns across the country.
