Forty-nine advanced technologies and products were showcased at an event in Fuzhou, Fujian province on Aug 23, attracting universities like Xiamen University, as well as 64 companies in Fujian.
The technologies and products cover almost all aspects of COVID-19 prevention and control, including virus testing, big data management of case diagnosis, artificial intelligence support, as well as disinfection of cold chain products and public transportation.
For instance, a machine shaped like a security scanner was designed by Fuzhou University and Fujian Fusshia Technology Co to disinfect the packaging of cold-chain products. The machine is currently on trial in a centralized supervision warehouse for imported cold chain food in Fuzhou.
"According to statistics from the sample, the virus elimination rate of the machine is over 99.99 percent," said Xu Tao, chief engineer of Fujian Fusshia Technology Co.
Eight cooperation contracts were signed at the event to promote the application of the technologies and products for COVID-19 prevention and control.
