A unique sports activity was hosted in a primary school in Shangyu district, Shaoxing, to provide an opportunity for students to interact closely with renowned track and field athletes, igniting their passion for sports, according to Tide News on Sept 25.

The event featured several renowned track and field athletes, including Shi Dongpeng, 110-meter hurdles world champion, Zhou Wei, former national men's 100-meter record holder, and Yan Xiao, former national track and field training team member.

In their exchanges, these athletes took on the role of coaches, personally guiding the school's track and field team. They demonstrated professional hurdling techniques, patiently corrected students' technical movements, and encouraged students to challenge themselves.

The track and field athletes toured the campus and had high praise for the school's sports facilities and educational environment.
