China Textile City, located in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, made an impressive start to 2024 by recording a total transaction volume of 91.36 billion yuan ($12.66 billion) in the first quarter, marking a substantial 7.27 percent increase from the previous year.

Behind this accomplishment, China Textile City facilitated two industry meetups, fostering connections between over 60 market players and nearly 300 buyers. This concerted effort not only expanded market access for textile firms in Keqiao district but also positioned China Textile City as a beacon of openness and collaboration.

Moreover, the national pilot project for market procurement trade is operating, offering a unique blend of variety, batches, and small quantities tailored to meet the export demands of individual enterprises.

To date, 2,756 entities have joined the online platform, contributing to Keqiao district's clearance of exports worth $459 million from January to March.
