Silk Road College Industry-University Alliance inaugurated in Shaoxing

The Silk Road College Industry-University Alliance held its establishment ceremony at the Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College in Shaoxing on Jan 9.
The alliance, comprising Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College, Malaysia's Lincoln University College, Thailand's Krirk University, and 10 other institutions globally, aims for collaboration in health and medical education.
Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College appointed 10 experts from the alliance as part-time professors, including professor Lian Jianwei, former vice-president of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, who donated eight of his works to the college.
The occasion also witnessed a mentorship ceremony for the disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese pharmacy at Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College.
The ceremony, featuring traditional rituals such as mentorship scroll presentations, rites, tea offerings, and apprentice token exchanges, highlighted a deep respect for educators and a commitment to the pursuit of traditional knowledge.
