Hangzhou Dianzi University will open its School of Integrated Circuits and Engineering in Shaoxing, according to an agreement signed by the university and the municipal government on March 1.

The municipal government said the campus that will be built in Yuecheng district will boost Shaoxing's integrated circuit industry and bring the city a talent training base.

Based on their agreement, the university will build the institute into a new type of higher education carrier focusing on talent training, scientific and technological innovation, as well as marketing of R&D achievements.
