A team of 945 young volunteers began serving at the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on Oct 29.

For 12 years, volunteers have brought warmth and dedication to the annual event.

The 2026 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit will put open-source AI and international cooperation on AI development and governance at the center of its agenda, organizers said on Tuesday at a news conference in Beijing.

The summit will take place November 2 to 5 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, bringing together Chinese and international participants to discuss innovation, security governance, cultural exchanges, and international cooperation.
