Lishui Tongqu Toy Technology in Lishui's Liandu district produces weighted plush toys ranging in weight from 1.6 to 2.5 kilograms. They are sold to consumers in more than 100 countries and regions.

Factory manager Du Yan was moved by feedback from a retired soldier from the United States who suffers from anxiety and insomnia. After buying a weighted plush toy, the customer reported improved mood and sleep.

Tongqu has formed an R&D team in Hangzhou with designers, engineers, and AI talent, and developed an AI visual design system for plush toys, cutting new product development to about one week.

The system helps identify aesthetic and cultural preferences in various markets, whether it be North America's focus on mental health or South America's preference for bright colors.

The company owns the brand NIUNIUDADDY and cooperates with British luxury department store Harrods. It has developed more than 200 original plush toys, with animal designs including sloth, cheetah, and tiger remaining popular.

Daily output of the company's workshop is 1,500 to 1,800 items, while sales reach tens of millions of yuan annually.

Tongqu uses eco-friendly, high-quality raw materials, strictly follows international safety standards, and has implemented a detailed production and quality inspection process.

The company will continue to integrate local supply chain resources, bring more operations and production to the area, and help upgrade Liandu's cross-border industry cluster.
