The IRONMAN 70.3 Dali has concluded in Yunnan province, with HoloSwim 3 Pro smart AR swim goggles — produced by Guangli (Songyang) Technology in Lishui's Songyang county, Zhejiang province — appearing in the open-water swimming leg.

The goggles feature GPS and geomagnetic navigation and are designed for outdoor competition. The company has exported AR swim goggles to North America, Europe, and Australia, and the latest model's appearance at an international triathlon marks another overseas breakthrough.

During the race, several athletes wore the goggles. They display pace, distance, and time on the lenses and use GPS and geomagnetic navigation to help swimmers stay oriented without frequently lifting their heads.

The optical design has been upgraded, with nearly doubled display brightness and a thinner, closer-fitting body for bright light and turbulent water.

Li Binbin, vice president of Guangli Technology, said the product could save users time, offer higher brightness, and allow them to see routes and directions without phones or watches.

According to Pan Genwei, production manager of the company, the Songyang factory uses strict manufacturing, including a class 10,000 cleanroom and precise assembly, sealing, and testing.

HoloSwim 3 Pro's monthly sales have stayed at 4,000 to 5,000 units since its May launch. Exports account for 40 percent. The company has completed new financing and plans to expand smart underwater and sports eyewear.
