Wuzhen Summit to spotlight AI and open-source development
The World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will take place from Nov 2 to 5 in Wuzhen town, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, with AI and open-source development among its key focuses.
The summit will feature 27 forums, the most in recent years, covering global cyberspace cooperation, AI agents, robots and embodied AI, and spatiotemporal intelligence. The main forum will feature a dialogue on AI in Wuzhen, bringing together leaders of global technology companies, executives of leading open-source large language model companies, and AI scientists to discuss building a global open-source AI ecosystem.
The summit will also see broad international participation, with the Practice Cases of Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace program having received 360 submissions from 80 countries and regions, including 22 first-time participants. The Light of Internet Expo will feature more than 400 Chinese and foreign companies, while the Global Internet Competition of "Straight to Wuzhen" has attracted 1,347 projects.
Zhejiang, the summit's permanent host province, will seek to make the event a driver of AI development. The province is set to build China's first open-source-themed ecological experience center and will also host an AI open-source innovation exhibition during the summit.
