A humanoid robot production base invested in and built by Minth Group, based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, opened on Aug 29 in Sabac, Serbia, marking the launch of Europe's first mass-production base for humanoid robots. The first robots to roll off the line interacted with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, demonstrating functions including folding clothes, playing chess, and dancing.

The first phase of the factory represents an investment of 20 million euros ($23.18 million). Once fully operational, it is expected to generate more than 100 million euros in annual output value. The facility plans to deliver 500 humanoid robots this year, with the first batch scheduled for service scenarios at Expo 2027 in Serbia. The launch of the Serbian base marks a new step in high-end manufacturing cooperation between China and Serbia, following Vucic's visit to Minth Group's Jiaxing headquarters in May.

Minth Group plans to establish a robotics industrial park and supporting production facilities in Serbia. The two sides are also expanding talent exchanges, with Serbian technicians having traveled to Jiaxing for practical training and another group scheduled to receive training in September.
