The first fleet of Ningbo fishing boats has returned to port, bringing the season's first fresh catch from the East China Sea.

On Aug 12, the first batch of vessels returned fully loaded after setting sail the previous afternoon. A total of 1,465 specially licensed fishing boats took part in the seasonal fishing operation, delivering fresh seafood to markets across Ningbo and bringing the city's seafood trade back to life.
