Shaoxing's Binhai New Area was alive with excitement on the morning of April 20, as Nanhu Square buzzed with activity for the "Spring Outlook, Vitality New Area" launch ceremony and the Binhai New Area Joyful Run event.

The festivities, featuring nine sub-events including captivating stage performances, a camping festival, a container party, and a gourmet carnival, aimed to promote healthy living ideals and provide a platform for communication.

Moreover, they showcased the Binhai New Area's distinctive allure as a place for living, working, and leisure, thus fostering social cohesion and cultural enrichment within the region.

A highlight of the occasion, the Binhai New Area Joyful Run, kicked off following the launch ceremony. Drawing over 800 running enthusiasts, the event offered both individual and parent-child categories covering distances of 8 km and 3km, respectively.

Participants in the 8km race enjoyed scenic routes around Nanhu and Beihu lakes, immersing themselves in the area's picturesque waterfront and dynamic shoreline while relishing the joys of exercise. Meanwhile, the 3km parent-child route emphasized family bonding and fun, providing a relaxed atmosphere for parents and children to enjoy the race together and cultivate a shared love for sports.
