Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province recently released an action plan to support the high-quality development of its 26 mountainous counties in modernization and common prosperity.

According to the action plan, Zhejiang will strive to increase the number of new market entities in the 26 mountainous counties, which includes county-level cities and districts, to more than 200,000 by the end of 2025.

The province will also seek to expand the number of small and micro enterprises by 20 percent and avail its one-stop service platform for quality infrastructure to these counties. At the same time, Zhejiang will aim to add more than 100 enterprises that sell green and organic products and create more than five demonstration areas for certified green products.

The action plan contains 156 support measures that are customized to each of the 26 mountainous counties' needs.
