Division of Food Safety Standards and Monitoring Evaluation 

The division is responsible for local standards for food safety, monitoring food safety risks, assessment and communication; formulating and implementing the city's nutritional health monitoring and evaluation standards, and managing its nutritional health. 

Division of Healthy Ageing 

Responsible for implementing national policies and measures to address ageing; formulating policies, local standards and norms for the combination of medical and nursing care in the city, and establishing and improving health services for the elderly. 

Division of Maternal and Child Health 

Developing maternal and child health policies, local standards and norms; promoting the construction of maternal and child health service system; guiding the work of maternal and child health, including prevention and treatment of birth defects, early development of infants and young children, management of human-assisted reproductive technology and reproductive technology services. 

Division of Occupational Health 

Organizing the implementation of national policies and standards related to occupational health and radiation health; monitoring key occupational diseases, conducting special investigations and assessments of occupational health risks, supervising occupational health management and coordinating the prevention and treatment of occupational diseases. 

Division of Population Monitoring and Family Development

Responsible for monitoring population and related early warning work in the city, and putting forward relevant policy recommendations on population and family development; improving birth-control policies and organizing their implementation; and developing a special support system for family planning.

Division of Publicity and United Front

Responsible for the propaganda, ideology and spiritual civilization construction of the Party in the health system of the whole city; responsible for united front work of subordinate units and centralized management units; responsible for health news and information release. 

Division of International and Regional Cooperation (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs) 

Organizing and guiding international and regional exchange and cooperation, foreign and regional publicity and aid in the field of health and safety in the city; carrying out exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan; taking charge of the administration of foreign and regional affairs of the Commission and subordinate units. 

Division of Health (Office of Chongqing Municipal Cadre Health Committee) 

Undertaking the medical and health care work of the health care objects determined by the Chongqing Municipal Cadre Health Care Committee and the medical and health care objects of the relevant units; responsible for the medical management and service of relevant cadres and high-level talents in municipal units; responsible for the medical and health care work of the central leadership and important foreign guests during their visits to Chongqing as well as the important meetings and activities held in the whole city; responsible for the daily work of the Office of the Chongqing Municipal Cadre Health Committee. 

Division of Patriotic Health Campaign (Office of Chongqing Patriotic Health Campaign Committee) 

Organizing and carrying out patriotic health campaigns and various health and health creation activities; organizing and implementing vector control in urban and rural areas of the city; working in accordance with the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. 

General Division of Traditional Chinese Medicine 

Responsible for drawing up development plans of traditional Chinese medicine, special plans for science, technology and education, comprehensive work plans and policies and measures of the city; responsible for system construction of TCM science and technology innovation, organizing and implementing the evaluation and acceptance of TCM science and technology projects and promotion of their achievements; organizing the sorting, summarizing and popularizing of traditional Chinese medicine theories, medical techniques, secret recipes and test recipes; responsible for TCM personnel training, post-graduate education, continuing education, and teacher education. 

Division of Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration 

Drawing up the establishment plans of TCM institutions; supervising and managing TCM medical institutions, personnel, technology and TCM advertisements; responsible for the quality management of TCM medical care, organizing and coordinating the technical appraisal of medical accidents and handling of medical disputes; liaising with TCM and pharmaceutical supervision of TCM institutions; and coordinating the construction of the TCM medical service system.

Division of Health Promotion 

Responsible for formulating public health education and health promotion objectives, plans, policies and norms, organizing health education and health promotion activities; undertaking scientific popularization of the health system; and furthering related work of poverty alleviation through better health care. 

Division of Audits 

Drawing up the regulations and systems for internal auditing of the city's health system; guiding and overseeing internal audits of the system; organizing and implementing audits of the economic responsibility of leading cadres of subordinate units; responsible for internal auditing of major projects and guiding subordinate units in carrying out special audit work. 

Division of Letters, Visits and Security 

Responsible for handling letters and visits from the general public; responsible for telephone or online complaints, health hotlines and related work; guiding and coordinating the relevant departments to deal with emergency safety and stability incidents of the health and safety system; responsible for the safety supervision and management of health institutions. 

Party Committee 

The Office of the Party Committee is responsible for the work of the Party in the Committee and subordinate units. 

Office of Retired Persons 

The office is responsible for management of retired personnel of the Committee and subordinate units.
