Chongqing Yuzhong Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center can trace its origins to the Chongqing Yuzhong Maternal and Child Health Hospital established in 1962.

The center has medical technology departments such as the children's health department (children's rehabilitation), women's health department, the family planning department. It offers services including diagnosis and treatment of common diseases of children as well as monitoring of children's growth and development.

It is a second-level maternal and child health care institution that integrates health care, medical treatment, training and guidance, and a business guidance center for grassroots undertaking of maternal and child health.
