TCM Culture Experience for Consular Officers held in Chongqing

A Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Experience for Consular Officers in Chongqing was held on June 19 at Beibei Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital.

Officers from the consulates-general of Japan, Italy, the Philippines, and Hungary and representatives of foreign chambers of commerce were invited to participate in the activity.
They visited exhibitions on traditional Chinese medicine and experienced herbal tea, massage, herbal sachets making, and other TCM programs, saying that the experience was productive and further advanced their understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
They expressed their willingness to participate in more such activities in the future, and to push forward cultural exchanges and trade cooperation with China in the field of TCM under the Belt and Road Initiative.
The event was organized by the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, the Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Management Bureau, and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.
