Chongqing further enhances health services for adolescents

The 2019 promotional meeting for Chongqing's Adolescent Health and Development Program was unveiled on July 11, further advancing health service work for the city's adolescents.
From July 11 to 13, Huang Xiaona, a maternal and child health expert of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, together with Zheng Ruimin, deputy director of the National Center for Women and Children's Health, China CDC, briefed the meeting on the latest developments in the international youth health field and the construction of the 12320 youth health information consultation and service platform.
The Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children intends to continue contributing to adolescent health service management, and promoting the healthy growth of adolescents.
Officials present at the event included Song Li, deputy director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health of the National Health Commission, Anuradha Narayan, chief of Health, Nutrition & WASH in the UNICEF China Office and He Lifang, deputy inspector of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission.
The event was sponsored by the UNICEF and co-organized by the National Center for Women and Children's Health, the China CDC and the Chongqing Health Center for Women and Children.
