Deputy director Liu meets consul-general of Israel in Chengdu

On Oct 23, 2018, Liu Kejia, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, met with Amir Laty, consul-general of Israel in Chengdu and Uri Zirinski, deputy consul-general. They conducted in-depth discussions on the Young Leaders Exchange Program in Israel and deepening exchanges and cooperation in the field of big health. 

The two sides fully affirmed the achievements in the field of health emergencies, and hope to further strengthen cooperation to promote common development.

Laty said that the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu will act as a bridge for medical experts and enterprises to carry out exchanges and cooperation, exploring prospects for future cooperation between the two sides in the field of big health. He hoped that Chongqing will become a key city for exchanges between Israel and China.

Liu actively responded to Laty's cooperation proposal and hoped that the two sides will establish a normal mechanism for exchanges and cooperation, and deepen cooperation in big health in areas such as health emergencies, personnel training, prevention and control of chronic diseases, cancer prevention and treatment, and Chinese medicine.
